I recently had to use my insurance for the first time, with a not-at-fault incident, and Jim explained all my options to ensure I could take full advantage of my policy, and guided the claim through State Farm HQ's various mistakes & delays. Apropos of nothing: unsecured load drivers need much harsher punishment. The rest of us shouldn't have to subsidize their carelessness."

"Worst agency in the Orange County, I wish I went another agent in OC. One accident cause by nature environment, and the last accident even isn’t fully my fault, but this agent increased the insurance from 170 to almost 500, this is ridiculous, when I try to talk with Jim, he has really bad attitude on the phone, Sneering at his own customers. He used different trick to induce the customer to say the answer he wants. The State Farm is good insurance, but BE REALLY REALLY REALLY CAREFUL TO CHOOSE THIS AGENT!"
"Mr. Xuli had a rate increase. Mr. Xuli had an at-fault accident and this caused his rate to increase. Mr. Xuli then gave several versions of falsehoods to try and not get rated on the vehicle. Different address not receiving mail and so on - none of which was true. To be honest, I am actually glad he will not be a customer. Individuals that partake in insurance fraud make the rates increase for the rest of us. This agency did not try to scam money from a policy holder - we simply charged the rate based on his driving record - this is how it works."

"I called Jim Canty's office to get an auto quote and was greeted by Janelle the receptionist who transferred me to Lowell who took me through the quoting process. He was very thorough and asked me all the questions about my car, where I lived and explained the insurance coverage. I had no idea what these numbers meant and he took the time to explain everything. I ended up going with the state minimum liability but included comprehensive and collision coverage which my previous carrier DID NOT INCLUDE! Turns out they just gave me a low rate and didn't go over the coverage details like Lowell did. I was driving without full coverage! I was getting terrible coverage at a low rate. Lowell gave me a renters insurance policy which gave me a 10% discount and saved me $8 a month on my renters insurance at my apartment. It ended up being slightly more than Infinity but I am more comfortable with a local agent and obviously the better coverage. These guys know what they are doing and I was promised that over time the rate will be lower than I was paying at Infinity WITH BETTER COVERAGE! Great job guys! I recommend this office to anyone looking to get auto insurance. They are very professional and competitive."
